Need car AC repair in Dubai? The complaint is almost always the same: cold on the overlay, nothing in Sheikh Zayed traffic. That is usually a packed condenser, a tired fan, low gas after a slow leak, or a compressor that has started to rattle. It is not “top up and hope” every May.

We gauge the system, look at condenser fins, check fans and cabin filter, then leak-test before we add gas. A Patrol with rear AC and a Yaris with a tiny condenser are not charged the same way.

Patrol rear AC is its own circuit in the way customers feel it: front ice-cold, rear blowing warm usually means a rear TXV, a rear line, or a blend door — not “just gas”. Hilux and Fortuner condensers sand-blast on the Emirates Road; you can clean them once, but a fin pack that is already folded will not cool at idle. Camry and Altima electric fans that run late after shutdown are often doing their job; fans that never run at idle are the fault.

What AC repair includes

Vent temperature at idle and at 2,000 rpm. Gauges on the ports. Condenser clean — the job most “gas top-ups” skip. Fans, cabin filter, visible pipe oil stains. UV or nitrogen leak test when the system is empty. Then the repair: seal, condenser, compressor, or a correct charge of the refrigerant that car actually uses.

If we open the system we replace the receiver-drier or desiccant where the design has one. Charging without a dry component is how the same car comes back in six weeks. We record idle vent temperature in the invoice so you can compare it in August.

What we do not do

We do not add gas to a system that is empty without finding the leak. We do not mix refrigerants. We do not tell you the compressor is fine because the clutch clicks once in the shade.
